Begin your adventure with an 8:30 AM pickup from your Arusha hotel, heading to Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive. Tanzania’s third-largest national park dazzles with its iconic baobab trees, towering over the wildlife below.
The Tarangire River, the park’s lifeline, attracts vast elephant herds and an array of species, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, lesser kudu, oryx, and eland. After an exhilarating day, return to your camp or lodge for a delectable dinner under the African sky.
Day 2Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Start early with a quick breakfast, descending into the Ngorongoro Crater by 6:30 AM for a 5-hour game drive. This UNESCO-listed wonder, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, spans 260 sq km and plunges over 2,000 feet. Its floor teems with wildlife, from African elephants and black rhinos to hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, lions, and buffalo.
