Kelvin Kaole and Hawa Kamwendo first met as university coursemates at Makerere. Years later, their different professional journeys came together in Nihapa Tours.
Kelvin's journey into tourism began in northern Tanzania and developed through tourism education, itinerary planning and hands-on safari operations.
His perspective remains practical: an itinerary must work once the vehicle is on the road, not only look impressive on paper.
Hawa's professional journey spans finance, conservation, clean energy and community development.
Her perspective brings another question into the business: what should tourism contribute to the places and people on which it depends?
