In the morning or afternoon you will be picked up by our driver at Kilimanjaro Airport and then transferred to Arusha, a one-hour drive, during which you may catch a glimpse of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. At Arusha, you will meet a representative from our office, along with your guide, who will brief you about your trip. Together, you will review the itinerary to ensure everything is diligent for your safari adventure. After the briefing, you will go for lunch at Cultural Heritage with your guide, a chance for deeper connections, storytelling, and conversation. It’s the perfect setting to discover common interests and lay the groundwork for an unforgettable journey. This welcoming lunch serves as a heartfelt introduction, helping to create the bonds that will make your experience truly special.
After lunch begin your road transfer to Tarangire driving along a well-paved road, and crossing the gently rolling Maasai plains, which are dotted with scattered acacia trees. During the journey, you’ll encounter many Maasai people in colorful attire, walking along the roadside, riding bicycles, herding cattle, and driving donkey carts.
Check-in at your lodge, then wear your outdoor clothes for a walk around the lodge and the park with a guide. Return later at sunset for a hearty dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 Guided game drive of Tarangire National Park and overnight at Ngorongoro.
In the early morning, after breakfast, you will enter Tarangire National Park for a full-day guided game drive. This park is renowned for its large herds of elephants and the impressive baobab trees that dot the landscape. From the open roof of your vehicle, you’ll have the opportunity to see seasonal swamps, expansive savannas, and the Tarangire River, where various animals such as zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, elephants, and giraffes gather. You might even catch a glimpse of a lion stalking its prey or a leopard lounging in the trees above.
At midday, you will enjoy a delightful picnic lunch in the park, surrounded by the sounds of nature and stunning landscapes. As you eat, take in the nearby wildlife, including vibrant birds and playful monkeys. After lunch, embark on an exciting game drive, where you might spot majestic elephants or hear distant lion roars, all while soaking in the enchanting atmosphere.

Day 3 Guided game drive – Ngorongoro Crater, transfer back to Arusha, Departure.
Begin your day by enjoying a beautiful sunrise and breakfast at your lodge on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. After breakfast, you will descend into one of the world’s most stunning natural wonders. The Ngorongoro Crater is a vast, unbroken caldera that spans 260 square kilometers (100 square miles) and is home to approximately 25,000 to 30,000 animals, making it one of Tanzania’s premier locations for diverse wildlife viewing.
Inside the crater, you will have up-close encounters with various animals, including wildebeest, zebras, elephants, buffalo, and hippos. It is also one of the few places in East Africa where you may spot the rare black rhino. For bird enthusiasts, Ngorongoro is a paradise, with over 500 species to observe, ranging from colorful starlings to majestic eagles and flocks of flamingos around Lake Magadi.
At midday, enjoy a picnic lunch by the lake, taking time to relax and soak in the serene views. After lunch, continue your adventure with more game drives across the crater floor, watching lions, hyenas, and other predators in action. By late afternoon, you will ascend back to the crater rim and travel back to Arusha, arriving in the early evening. From there, you can either head to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight home or choose to extend your trip with tours to Zanzibar, Mafia, Pemba, or Kilimanjaro.
This experience, from sunrise to sunset in the Ngorongoro Crater, makes for an unforgettable part of your 3 Days Tanzania Holiday Tour.
