No. This five-day version starts from Arusha and transfers directly toward Ndutu and the Southern Serengeti, allowing the safari to preserve the main calving-season flow in one fewer day.
How much time is spent in Ndutu?
The route reaches Ndutu on Day 1, stays for two nights, dedicates all of Day 2 to the calving ecosystem and includes another migration-focused morning on Day 3 before continuing to Central Serengeti.
Can we fly from Arusha to Ndutu instead of driving?
Yes. Guests who prefer to save the long driving time to Ndutu may choose the direct flight for an additional USD 170 per person. Because this is a shared departure, every traveller in the group must agree to the flight option.
Can I join as a solo traveller?
Yes. The shared-group format is designed for solo travellers as well as couples and small groups. Rooming requirements are confirmed during booking.
How many travellers are in each vehicle?
Each scheduled departure is configured for a maximum of five or six travellers. The exact maximum is shown on each departure card and in the booking dropdown.
What happens if fewer than four travellers confirm?
The scheduled departure is guaranteed from four confirmed travellers. If an under-four departure is agreed to operate, the applicable 1-, 2- or 3-person price tier applies unless Nihapa confirms another arrangement.
Where does the safari end?
Day 5 includes the Ngorongoro Crater safari followed by the return to Arusha. Additional accommodation or airport transfers can be arranged separately.
When does a departure close online?
The calendar automatically closes a departure when its start date begins in Tanzania time, and the booking dropdown excludes closed departures.
