Confirmed travellers can be connected before departure so expectations and trip logistics are clear.
The itinerary follows the published calving-season route through Tarangire, Ndutu and Southern Serengeti, Central Serengeti, Karatu and Ngorongoro Crater.
Depart Arusha and travel to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Explore giant baobab landscapes, large elephant herds and diverse wildlife concentrated around the Tarangire River.
Travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward Ndutu and the Southern Serengeti ecosystem. Arrive for an afternoon game drive among migration herds gathering on the short-grass plains during the calving season.
Spend the entire day exploring the Ndutu plains. During the calving season, large migration herds gather across the short-grass ecosystem and attract strong predator activity, creating excellent opportunities for extended wildlife observation.
Enjoy another rewarding morning game drive across the Ndutu plains, then continue north toward Central Serengeti. Explore Seronera's kopjes, river valleys and acacia-dotted savannah during the afternoon.
Enjoy a morning safari in Central Serengeti, searching for resident lions, leopards, cheetahs and large herbivore herds. Later, depart through the Ngorongoro Highlands and continue to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive across the caldera floor. Search for black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos and large concentrations of grazing wildlife before returning to Arusha.
The accommodation sequence follows the published six-day calving route, keeping the group close to Tarangire, the Ndutu plains, Central Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Highlands.
