case the USD 113 triple-room reduction applies. Kilimanjaro
International Airport (JRO)–Arusha transfers are USD 70 per vehicle/per
transfer for up to five travelers; a party of six travelers is USD 100

Spend the morning around the Mara River and Northern Serengeti searching for migration activity and possible river-crossing action. River crossings are natural events and cannot be guaranteed. Later, travel south through Central Serengeti with game viewing en route, continuing toward Karatu in the late afternoon.

Leave Karatu early and travel to Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the caldera for a full-day guided game drive across grassland, wetland and forest habitats. Search for black rhino, lion, elephant, buffalo, hippo and plains wildlife before returning to Arusha, where the tour ends.

4-Day Great Migration Safari FAQs
Are Mara River crossings guaranteed?
No. The itinerary places the group in Northern Serengeti and around the Mara River during the migration season, but crossings and exact herd movements are natural wildlife events and cannot be guaranteed.
How much time is spent in Northern Serengeti?
The group reaches Northern Serengeti on Day 2 and stays overnight near the Mara River ecosystem. Day 3 begins with another migration-focused morning in the north before travelling south through Central Serengeti.
Is the Maasai village visit included?
Yes. The Day 1 route includes a Maasai village visit while travelling through the Ngorongoro Highlands before continuing to Central Serengeti.
Can I join as a solo traveller?
Yes. The shared-group format is suitable for solo travellers as well as couples and small groups. Rooming requirements are confirmed during booking.
How many travellers are in each vehicle?
Each scheduled departure has a published maximum of five or six travellers. The exact maximum is shown on the departure card and booking dropdown.
What happens when a departure reaches maximum capacity?
The calendar automatically marks it Fully Booked, disables the Join Group action and removes that departure from the booking dropdown when its confirmed participant count reaches its published maximum.
What happens if fewer than four travellers confirm?
The scheduled departure is guaranteed from four confirmed travellers. If an under-four departure is agreed to operate, the applicable 1-, 2- or 3-person price tier applies unless Nihapa confirms another arrangement.
Where does the safari end?
Day 4 finishes with the Ngorongoro Crater safari followed by the transfer to Arusha. Additional accommodation or airport transfers can be arranged separately.
When does a departure close online?
A departure closes automatically when its start date begins in Tanzania time or when the confirmed participant count reaches that departure’s maximum capacity. Closed and fully booked departures are excluded from the booking dropdown.
