No. River crossings and migration movements are natural wildlife events. The itinerary positions the group in the relevant Northern Serengeti and Mara River region, while the guide adapts game drives to current conditions.
How much time is spent in Northern Serengeti?
The group reaches Kogatende on Day 3, dedicates all of Day 4 to the Mara River and keeps additional migration-focused game viewing on Day 5 before returning to Central Serengeti.
What is the Empakaai Crater activity?
Day 6 includes a guided walking and crater trekking safari at Empakaai Crater before exiting Ngorongoro and continuing to Karatu for the night.
Is Ngorongoro only a short visit?
No. Day 7 is dedicated to a full-day Ngorongoro Crater game drive before returning to Tloma Lodge in Karatu.
Are the Day 2 Maasai village visit and Day 8 Mto wa Mbu activities included?
No. These are optional extra activities. Day 2 can include a Maasai village visit, while Day 8 can include tuk-tuk, village biking or ziplining in Mto wa Mbu.

What happens if fewer than four travellers confirm?
The scheduled departure is guaranteed from four confirmed travellers. If an under-four departure is agreed to operate, the applicable 1-, 2- or 3-person price tier applies unless Nihapa confirms another arrangement.
When does a departure close online?
